CUPE donates $50,000 to Canadian Red Cross for Saskatchewan wildfire relief
The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) has stepped up to support wildfire relief efforts in Saskatchewan by donating $50,000 to the Canadian Red Cross’ 2025 Saskatchewan Wildfires Appeal. The contribution will aid communities affected by one of the most devastating forest fire seasons in the province’s history, with First Nations communities being disproportionately impacted.

Education support workers deserve a seat at the table
Representatives from CUPE Saskatchewan’s Education Workers’ Steering Committee met virtually with Saskatchewan’s Minister of Education Everett Hindley and Deputy Minister Clint Repski. They discussed issues facing support staff in Saskatchewan schools, and to ask for a seat at the table during discussions about improving our education system.
